Chapter 7

What Jem found unusual about her pants is that they were folded nicely over the fence, and when she left they were unfolded on the ground.

Chapter 6:
In front of the Radley's house one summer night Jem was found witout his pants by his father, Atticus and his neighbor. He and Dill had just been trying to sneak into the Radley's yard to get a look at Boo Radley. When they were escaping Jem's pants got caught on the fence. Dill had told them though that they had been playing strip poker and Jem had left his pants by the pond.

Chapter 6:
Jem lost his pants in a sneek look into the radley house one night. When Jem crawled under the fence in order to escape he lost his pants. The parents that were standing outside the radley house wondering what all the commotion was, they saw Jem standing there without any pants. His savior to a great deal of punishment was for Dill coming into the conversation saying that Jem lost his pants playing a game of strip poker with Dill.

Chapter 7

Jem found that his pants were sewn up nicely on the fence when he went to go get them. The weirder thing about it was that they looked like something that he would have tried to do if he had sewn them, not a woman, he thought it looked like a man's handywork. It's hinting that he thinks that it had been Boo who had sewn his pants.

What Jem found unusual about his pants was that they were sewn together by what looked like mans handiwork. He left them on the fence when he was at the Radleys house and they were ripped. Now he finds them fixed.

Hello!

I enjoyed reading your responses. I agree that the unusal thing about Jem's pants was that when he returned to get his pants, they were folded and the tear that had been in his pants was stitched and it had appeared to have been hand stitched.

Atticus had asked Jem where his pants were and he went silent because he didnt want to tell him that they were at the Radleys place so Dill interupted and had told the crowd that Jem lost his pants to Dill in stirp poker.
